Obituary of Graeme E. Hill

HILL, Graeme Earl – 34, Toronto, formerly of Dartmouth. It is with deep sorrow that we say good bye to our beautiful, beautiful boy. Graeme was born in Halifax on October 26, 1982 to Terrance and Dianne (Watts) Hill. Graeme graduated from Prince Andrew High School in June of 2001. He was a talented young man; a musician, photographer, mechanic of sorts, a cook, and an all around good guy. He was a member of the High School Band playing trombone and bass guitar with a pit orchestra at the school for one of their musicals. He spent many years with the Royal Astronomy Association, taking photos of night skies, having had one photo published in National Geographic Magazine. Graeme worked on Citadel Hill, working himself up to sergeant of the 78th Highlanders, completing tours with brigade to Colorado and Ontario. He was also the face of Nova Scotia on the "Doers and Dreamers" Guide for two years running. As a result of his job on Citadel Hill, he travelled to Florida for tourism conferences, selling Nova Scotia. He was sent to Marseille, France to a tourism convention where he represented Nova Scotia. Graeme moved to Toronto in 2013 with his girlfriend, Leena. He went to work as a guide on The Edgewalk of the CN Tower. He loved his work. Graeme is survived by his partner, Leena Kilback; his parents, Terrance and Dianne (Watts) Hill, brother, Geoffrey, Edmonton, AB and sister, Kathleen (Sean) Higgins, Dartmouth. He is also survived by uncles, David (Donna) Watts and Charles (Lynn) Hill; aunt, Joan Watts; cousins, Sharla and her daughter, Haylee Tobin; David (Arlea)Watts and their son, Colby; Stacey and Tim, Stacey's son, Matthew; Judy Hill and her children Kim, Karen and Kenneth; step cousins, Melanie (Rick Rosario) and Gregg (Julie) King; many friends.
