Dianne and Terry, Kathleen & Geoff- so sorry to hear the tragic news of Graeme. Words cannot express our sympathy for what you are all going through at this moment. If the service is before we go away we will definitely be there - if after next Friday we will have to send our love spiritually. Please know we will be thinking of you all.

Loss is never easy, but the loss of a son, and a brother, so young is even harder. Graeme lived life and he achieved more in his short years than many do in their lifetime. He made many friends and left a lasting memory with all he encountered. He will now have the peace of mind he deserves in the presence of God who must be "well pleased" to have welcomed him home so soon. He can share his life experiences with those who have passed on before him as he waits to welcome everyone home. Know that you are in our prayers and our thoughts through all of this and in the months to come.

I had the pleasure of working with Graeme for two summers at the Halifax Citadel. He was a great guy, with a wicked sense of humour. He introduced me to base-jumping. I introduced him to my father once, Kevin Fraser, because Terry gave my father music lessons and Graeme was so professional and polite talking to my dad. I'm so sorry for what has happened. Graeme was a wonderful person, a great friend, and I will miss seeing him around and hearing about his adventures. My deepest condolences go out to you at this time.

Dear Dianne, Terry, Geoff, and Kathleen, we were all so saddened to hear about Graeme. As a family we prayed for him to come home, but not like this. Although I didn't know him personally, I have always thought fondly of your whole family and remember you all from my days at Woodlawn. The girls and I have grown closer to Kathleen in the past couple of years thanks to highland dance and petsmart and so we especially hold her in our hearts at this time. May all of you continue to find comfort in one another and with good friends and family as you remember Graeme and celebrate his life.

Hello. I have been a member of the HCRA at the Halifax Citadel since my return in 1992. During those years as staff, Supervisor, and most recently Volunteer, I have met many fine young men and women who have performed with great work ethics and kindness, including your son Graeme. It is with deep sadness that I have to message you in this way and though my friendship with Graeme was through my work and volunteer activities, I can only let you know that we miss him, and this is indeed a sad event that should never have happened to such a fine young man. God rest and with my respect and sorrow I wish you find peace through your memories of your son.

Dear Terry and Dianne, Greg and I were so sorry to read of Graeme's death. I truly believe that no one can grasp the depths of another person's sorrow. However, we do the pain associated with the death of a son. I wish we could offer you some magical words of wisdom but I have none. I can reassure you that as trite as it may sound, time is a great healer. Take comfort from the love and support of your friends and family. With sincere sympathy, June Oxner

It is with great sadness that I learned of Graeme's passing. I knew Graeme from his time at the Halifax Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. We spent many nights together at our observatory in St. Croix observing the night sky and talking about all things astronomical. Graeme's enthusiasm for astronomy and observing the night sky was infectious. While Graeme's time with us was very short, he was a valued member of our society and held in high regard by the observers of the Halifax Centre. "Please don't worry, because in the end none of us have very long on this Earth. LIfe if fleeting, and if you are distressed, cast your eyes to the summer sky when the stars are strung across the velvety night. And when a shooting star streaks through the blackness, make a wish and think of me"
