Cheryl & Mark, We were so sorry to see your Mom's passing in the paper, Cheryl. It's never easy when you lose a parent. It sounds as though Dot remained the social butterfly & was active to the end. So sorry to hear of your loss, we moved in across from Dot in 2007 and she was a great neighbour, I would lend a hand from time to time, taking in her green bin, or throwing some salt on her driveway from time to time In the winter ,I kept an eye on her place when she was away and collected flyers so it would not be apparent no one was home,she was always in her garden tending to the weeds and such. She was a great neighbor ,condolences to the family Kenny & Rita

Dear family, please accept my sincerest condolences. I met Dorothy many years ago at TOPS in Spryfield. I always enjoyed sitting beside her as she would tell me and my mother (also named Dorothy) what adventures she was up to. She was such a lovely lady. She will be missed. Take care. Judy Prosser

Please accept my sincere condolences. I have such warm memories of Dot from the gentle aqua classes at the Captain William Spry Centre. Long after that class was cancelled, when she saw me, she'd ask about my 'young' nephew who took to and from school - genuine interest. Then she moved in across the street on Anchor Drive - a true neighbour. May your cherished memories bring you comfort and may God's love grant you peace at this difficult time. Rob, Cheryl, Wendy and family. I cherish the years that I spent as a teenager in your home and hanging out. Dot took me in and treated me like her own. So kind, thoughtful and hard working.
