Janet & family, I am Clarence Cottreau's oldest daughter. I am so sad to be reading this news of Gerald's passing. Gerald was a dear friend to my father and that was so evident when he was ill. Many a night, Gerald would come into the hospital in all weather to relieve us girls so we could go home and rest. I don't know what we would have done without him! Gerald had a heart of gold! Janet, you too were so kind to my Dad with the lovely chow you would make for him. These gestures made Dad's last years very happy. He and Gerald played many a card game over the years and they really were great friends. Gerald will definitely be missed! May God watch over you all now and may your many memories keep you smiling.
