I had worked with Pete for about 10 years at Vogue Optical.. He was the “lab guy”… We try to keep the work stress down so we joked around a lot… We talked about our daughters often and he was so proud of his daughter Viv. He will be surely missed at work. Hanna, Vivian and all of Peter's Family, I was so sorry to hear about Peter's passing. Hanna and Peter were great 8th Floor neighbors back in the apartment days and it was always good to run into Peter, Hanna and Vivian and have a quick chat anytime I was fortunate enough to see them. My Family's thoughts and prayers are with Hanna, Vivian and all of Peter's family members and friends at this time. RIP Mr. Peter McDonald.

Peter was a dear friend and a table tennis colleague. To name a few of his incredible characteristics, he was caring, charming, jolly, kind hearted and loving. Always gave a genuine tight hug and created a positive environment. Liked to be referred to as Handsome :) Peter will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear about Peter's passing away. This hurts! He created a positive space at the Table Tennis club, always had a big smile, and encouraged everyone to have fun. I still remember his coordination of teams and tournaments at DAL and working with the sponsors, he was always doing something for others. My heart goes out to Peter's family. He will be dearly missed by his big Table Tennis family too.

Peter, friends since grade 9. I am very saddened to hear of your passing. I have so many memories to cherish, from being roommates, going downtown, camping and fishing together. You were an awesome friend and a very proud father of a beautiful young lady you and Hannah raised. That was your greatest accomplishment and I could tell in how you talked about Vivian. What a amazing man loved Pete so very much,we spent so much time at each other homes when we were growing up,I loved his mom and dad as if they were my own ,I am so shocked by this ,it’s such a loss to all who knew Pete ,man ole man how he lit up a room ,we have laughed tell we cried many a time I can’t think of a bad moment with him just Great memories and that is what I have of you my brother.
