Bud and Muriel introduced me to my husband, Leonard Goodyear. I loved Bud as he was witty, smart, devoted to Muriel, his children and his faith. I was so sad to see that my birthday twin ,( April 26 ) Bud , has passed away. Your mom and dad were customers of mine at the Joe Howe Superstore for many years. Such a sweet , loving and devoted couple. I always enjoyed seeing them and having a chat. They loved their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of their hearts....well except their love for each other. Many times I heard from Muriel how they knew each other since they were in grade 1 and have been together ever since. My heart breaks for her losing her life partner. Your dad was one of a kind....sweet and humble and very whitty. I haven't seen them since they moved to Parkland, but would see Bud out walking near that area. May he RIP ....condolences to Muriel and the rest of your family

I’m saddened buy the loss of my uncle “Bud” and I will miss him, his puns and his laugh. He so reminded me of my mother. He was such a good man, brother, farther, Husband and neighbour…. A wonderful example of faith, character and generosity. I imagine there is an amazing family reunion in heaven where hearts are full. Love ‘n stuff Shari

Cliff and family, so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I always loved seeing your Dad and Mom coming into the store, always took time for a chat. Many times I remember walking home and seeing your Dad on his knees digging up the weeds on the lawn. He said it was the best way to get rid of them!
