Obituary of Christopher Poole

It is with great sadness that we, the family, annouce the passing of Christopher Poole on March 22, 2022. Born in Harbour Bretton Newfoundland on August 29,1959. He is predeceased by his Mother Olive Agnus (Rose) and Father John Robert Poole; as well as two young siblings: Sister Sharron and Brother Perry (both in infancy). He is survived by his life partner of 22 years, Sandra Martin; Previous Wife Tracy Butler; Daughter Tara (Chris Neale); Son Brady Shanks (Gillian Claire); Grandchildren, Kelly Neale, Jesse Neale, Madeline Neale, Finley Neale. Brothers; Clarence, Scott, Terry (Brenda), John (Ada), Bruce, Gregory (Tammy), Sisters; Sharon (Lewis Willmott), Sylvia (Roy Ashton), Danita (Michael Lynch) as well as Many nieces and nephews. 

Chris grew up in Gaultois NL. He studied at Memorial University in the Arts program as well as Information Technology at NSCC. Christopher worked in Fisheries NS, Alberta Oilfeilds and Forestry. Christopher was a passoniate personal trainer for the YMCA and privately. He also worked at Blooming Cafe cooking and catering. He enjoyed talking with the customers. Christopher will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Life to take place Thursday March 31, 2022 at 11:00 am at J Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS. Following the service there will be a reception held at Golden Age Social Centre, 212 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax. Online condolences may be made using Tribute Wall located in the sidebar.
