Chris,
I guess my condolence is better late than never! When Robert Gray told me about your death it was like being struck by lightning! You always said l was a product of you, and to me you were so many things, a role model, my mentor, you taught me to fight in the ring and on the street, you taught me style and pinache and you had a sense of humor that always left me rolling on the floor! I will never forget living with you in Vancouver in 94, yet it probably wasn't our finest hour!
You taught me so much that l otherwise wouldn't have known!
You were The Two Time Former Alberta Welterweight Boxing Champion and a real life Rocky Balboa! You were the best damn trainer that The YMCA ever had! You were also my hero! You once said "Jason, you and Brady are going to be my successors"! Well, l guess the time has come, and Chris, l am going to honor that, and around the world and you know what l mean! No one on this earth can or could ever emulate you or your style like l can!
I also want you to know that Robert and Richard are going to miss you to!
I can't see past my tears now! You meant everything to me coach, and you always will!!!
I love you, and i'm going to miss you!!!
