I just saw Josie's obituary. So sorry I did not know to attend the Mass yesterday at Saint Michael's. I so often saw her there and once in awhile drove her home during those years I worked on Sylvia Avenue. She was so gentle and gracious. I wish all her family enough. sympathy and prayers, Joan

To all the Murphy family , I would like to send my sincer condolences to each and everyone of you. We all grew up together . I always had a lot of respect for your mom. Please accept my condolences on your mother's passing. I am a descendant of John Murphy, blacksmith in Sheet Harbour in the 1880's. My grandfather was Edward( Ned) Murphy, who had several brothers who moved to the Halifax area, and am wondering if there might be a family connection.
