Obituary of Harry Keigan

KEIGAN, Harry F. … 79, Halifax, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 8, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Edward and Loretta (Martell) Keigan. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by his wife, Joyce (Rafuse); daughters, Marie (Art), Patricia, Darlene (Ronald) and Kimberly; sons, Robert (Sandy) and Wayne; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta Moore; brother, Tommy Keigan. He was predeceased by his son, Harry; brother, Walter. The family extends special thanks to Dr. Nick Petropolis, the VON and Palliative Care for their compassionate care and support. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, August 12 at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel. Flowers are gratefully declined.
