Obituary of David Dacey

Dacey, David John “Dacey”: 64, Halifax, passed away May 24, 2010, surrounded by his loving children, following a very courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was the son of the late John and Mary (Noddin) Dacey. He will be sadly missed by his children, Kelly Knox (Allan), Scott Dacey (Mona), and Marlie Mercer (Glen), his sister, Karen Flick (Mike), and brother, Richard Dacey (Yvonne), his grandchildren, Darrian, Jillian, Braeden, and Alex, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marlene Dacey. Many thanks to all of the family members and special friends who surrounded Dave with love and support. A very special thanks to Chris Houlahan for the love and care you gave to Dave during his battle. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of JA Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where visitation will take place on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 1PM to 3 PM. A service of remembrance will follow visitation at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception.
