Obituary of Rosanne Gritten

57, Halifax, passed away peacefully in the V.G. Site QEII after battling cancer. Born in Barrie, Ont., she was a daughter of Audrey (May) and the late William G. Murphy. She is survived by her husband, Geoffery B. Gritten; daughter, Cindy at home; sisters, Gale Hammond (Cyril); brothers, Larry Murphy (Joan), Guy Murphy (Bev), Clay Murphy, Brent Murphy (Krystal), Todd Murphy (Nanette), Shannon Murphy (Lisa), all of Halifax; William Murphy (Heather), Campbell River B.C.; grandchildren, Jenna Steeves, Makal Belisle both of Halifax; a large number of nieces and nephews; father-in-law, Peter G. Gritten; sister-in-law, Wendy E. Johnston, Napean Ont. She was predeceased by son, Corey W. Murphy; brother, Stanley E. Murphy who had been lost at sea. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. (477-5601) where a memorial service will be held Saturday 1 p.m., Lieutenant Robert Jeffery officiating. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
