Obituary of Vera Campbell

CAMPBELL, Vera Ann … 84, Halifax, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in Glades Lodge Nursing Home. Born in Inverness, she was a daughter of the late Dan and Bessie (MacPhee) Campbell. Vera was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Ernest; sisters, Anne, Johnena, Margaret “Peggy”, Marcella and Maribelle. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). In keeping with Vera’s wishes, there will be no visitation, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Inverness. Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
