Obituary of Theresa Brown

BROWN, Theresa Elizabeth - 72, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2010 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Grace Cordeau. Theresa worked as a bookkeeper for the Spryfield Masonry for 40 years. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother who was always there for her family and friends if they ever needed anything. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her husband of 55 years, Gordon, Halifax; sons, Gordon (Anne Marie), Alberta; Tony (Sheila), Halifax; daughters, Jane Brown and Paula Mount, both of Halifax; grandchildren, Terri Mount (Merrill Snyder); Trevor Mount; Selena, Justin, Jessica and James Brown; Krista Clark; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Patrick and Mackenzie. She was predeceased by brother, Ronnie. Arrangements are under the direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, (477-5601) where visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday, January 10 and 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12 at 11 AM in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Joe MacKinnon officiating. Private interment to be held at a later date in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations in Theresa's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
