Obituary of Wanda Mitchell (nee Hayden)

Mitchell (nee Hayden), Wanda Joyce: 42, Spryfield. We, the family, sadly announce the passing of Wanda Joyce (nee Hayden) Mitchell suddenly on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at home. Born in Halifax on August 7, 1967, she is the only daughter of Randall Wade and Glenda Joyce (Farrell) Hayden. Wanda loved life and enjoyed all of the many friends she made over her lifetime. She enjoyed a good game of Bingo. Wanda is survived by her parents, Wade and Glenda, her former husband and father of her children, Christopher Mitchell, her sons, whom she adored, Christopher, Matthew, and Hayden, brothers, Harvey (Susan) Hayden, and Michael Hayden, as well as her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, Adam, Evan, Erica and Nicole. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Alice Farrell and paternal grandparents, Carman and Ethel Hayden. Cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 1-2 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Gerry Kendrick as officiant.
