Obituary of Grant Gilkie

Gilkie, Grant Clifford: Halifax, 48, passed away with family by his side on Monday, July 27, 2009 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Brenton and Betty Gilkie. Grant will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his siblings, Trudy (Chris), Maxine (Chris), Chesley, Curtis (Lorrie), and Annette (Dennis), many nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Arthur. The family wishes to express their thanks to all of those who tried, your kindness will never be forgotten. By request, cremation has taken place under the care of JA Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (477.5601), where a memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel.
