Obituary of Marion Ryan

RYAN, Marion Nema … 85, Halifax, passed away on May 3, 2009 in Drummond Hall. Born in Tantallon, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Aurelia (Mitchell) Dauphinee. She is survived by sons, Peter (Valerie), Halifax; Terry (Betty), Hammonds Plains; daughter in-law, Sharon, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Cindy (Terry), Holly (Steve), Marcy (Mike), Tom (Brooke); great grandchildren, Kayca, Havelie, Abbie, Julia, Siri and Danica; brother, Edgil (Olive) Dauphinee, Dartmouth; sister, Eileen (Bill) Elliott, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband Tom and granddaughter, Amy. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Drummond Hall for all of the love and compassion given to Marion during her time in their care. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477.5601). By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service for Marion and Tom will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 11 AM from the funeral home chapel, Rev. Harley Kynock officiating. Donations in Marion’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
