Obituary of Frances "Fonny" Miller

MILLER, Francis Mary “Fonny”- 83, St. Margaret’s Bay, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2009 at home. Born in Head of St. Margaret’s Bay, she was a daughter of the late Worden and Nancy (Rhyno) Boutilier. Francis, affectionately known as Fonny, was a devoted mother who loved her family. She was a wonderful cook and baker, her pies and pound cake were a favorite. She loved her home, her flowers and her garden. Fonny was a devout member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Lakeside. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by Son, Earl Frederick (Susan); daughter, Angela Catherine (Brian Williams); grandchildren, Matthew and Jamie-Frances; brother, Robert Boutilier (Helen); sister, Mary Pettipas (Andrew). She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Reginald; brothers, Evett and Joseph. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). By request, there will be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Timberlea. Interment to take place at a later date. Donations in Fonny’s memory may be made to the St. Andrew’s Anglican Church.
