Obituary of Todd Slaunwhite
SLAUNWHITE, Todd Michael-45, Terence Bay. It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband, father, son, brother, brother in-law, uncle, great-uncle and a dear friend to many. Todd passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009, in the VG Site, QEII. He worked as a carpenter/contractor all of his life and was a jack of all trades, and enjoyed what he did. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hanging out with friends in his garage, hunting at their camp in New Germany and fishing with his sons and family. He was an avid NASCAR fan and he loved his ATV, snowmobiling and boating. Todd is survived by his loving wife, Pattie; sons, Trevor and Taylor; mother, Violet Slaunwhite; sisters, Michele (David) Cormier and Wanda Slaunwhite; brother, Tim (Sandy); many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Merle Slaunwhite and uncle, Chesley Williams. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601). By request there will be no visitation. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, March 17, at 10 a.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Terence Bay. Interment to follow in Sunrise Park Cemetery followed by a reception at the Terence Bay Fire Hall.
