Obituary of Mary "Beth" Godwin

SULIS (Godwin) Mary Elizabeth - 89, Glen Haven, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2008. Born in Smith’s Cove, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie Sulis. Beth lived in five communities throughout her life, enjoying many years in Smith’s Cove, Annapolis Royal, Bridgetown, Victoria BC and Glen Haven. She will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by family and friends. Beth is survived by her son Michael (Dorothy) Bailey; grandchildren Angela and Charles Bailey; step daughters Susan Godwin and Gail Bews; step son Andrew Godwin. She was predeceased by husband Charles Godwin; brother Harold Sulis. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). A graveside service will be held at a later date in Sulis Cemetery, Smith’s Cove. Donations in Beth’s memory may be made to the CNIB, SPCA or a charity of one’s choice.
