Obituary of Joyce Livingstone

Livingstone, Joyce Phyllis: 78, Windsor, NS, formerly of Purcell’s Cove, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Dykeland Lodge, following a short illness. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith (Large) Livingstone. For over 30 years, Joyce had been employed with Simpson Sears, Halifax, from where she retired. Joyce had a great love for animals, and enjoyed her trips with her special friends, Venita, Joan and Shirley. She is survived by two sisters, Helen (Neville Watson), Port Williams, NS, and Barbara Quick, Ontario, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, William, Roy and Harold, and a sister, Dorothy, in infancy. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS (902.477.5601), where a celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel.
