Obituary of Edwin Rowe
Rowe, Edwin Hall: It is with deep sadness that the family of Edwin Hall Rowe (Red) announce his death on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Victoria General Hospital, at the age of 76. As a brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he was a joy to be around with his singing and joking nature. He will be missed by family and all who knew him. Born in Halifax on September 18, 1932, he was the son of the late Edwin and Marie Rowe. He married Lillian Faye Cleveland in 1955 and they lived and raised five children together in Kline Heights for 50 years before relocating to Clayton Park in 2005. Edwin is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillian; his five children: daughters, Dawn Beals (Peter), and Cynthia Paul, and his sons, Derek (Kerry), Gary (Karen), and Scott (April). He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and his two sisters, Helen Oakley (Leo) and Doris McLean (Earl).
