Obituary of Ernest Gray

GRAY, Ernest Marshall… 74, Sambro, passed away October 6, 2008 at the VG Hospital. Born in Sambro, he was a son of the late Ernest and Lottie Gray. Ernest was a fisherman all of his life, he especially enjoyed Mackeral fishing. He spent countless hours in his shed working on lobster traps and mending nets. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends, especially Les Findley. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty, Sambro; sons Jimmy, Sambro; Teddy (Lori), Sambro; daughter Arlene (Tom) Kennedy, Sambro; grandchildren Kyle and Rory Kennedy, Trisha and Jenna Gray; aunt Minnie Smith. He was predeceased by brothers Wilbert, Lloyd and Alfred. By request there will be no service. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 7-9 p.m. from J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601).
