Obituary of Gary Franklin

Franklin, Gary C.: 71, Harrietsfield, NS, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 15, 2008. Born in Halifax, NS, he was a son of the late Stanley and Ellen Franklin. He is survived by his common-law wife, Gennie, and son, Gary, Both of Halifax, NS; his daughters, Wendy, Mississauga, and Vickie, Victoria; his grandchildren, Emily, Jayden, Leigh-Ann, Derrick, Daryl, and Michael; brothers, Fred, Hatchet Lake, Freeman, Ontario; sisters, June, Sackville, and Marie, Ontario; as well as his step-children, Lisa, Bev, Elaine, Derrick, Allen, Terry, David, and Randy. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Clarence and Robert and a step-son, Kim. By request, cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, NS (477.5601), where visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 10 AM from the funeral home chapel, followed by interment in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, NS.
