Obituary of June Boudreau

BOUDREAU, June Theresa … 71, Halifax, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 28 in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine (Hatter) McPhee. June is survived by her husband Alexander “Snider” Boudreau, Halifax; son Roderick “Roddy” Boudreau, Annapolis Valley; daughters Katherine “Kathy” (Stephen) Johnson, Halifax, Carolyn Boudreau, Halifax and Debbie (Sherman) Gero, Dartmouth; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sisters Mary Hunt Rodger, Dartmouth, Carol Connolly, Alberta; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Robert McPhee; twin sister in infancy. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 2, 10:00 a.m. in St. Michael’s Catholic Church, with Father Rob Arsenault officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in June’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
