Obituary of Rita O'Brien

O’BRIEN, Rita Elizabeth - 84, Halifax, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008, in Glades Lodge. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Hamilton) O’Brien. Rita was a fun loving and outgoing person, who enjoyed dancing and telling jokes. Her favorite song was “Between Two Trees”. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her three brothers Robert, James and William O’Brien. Arrangements are under the direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601). By request, there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16 at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
