Obituary of Doris Loretta Frederickson

FREDERICKSON, Doris Loretta - 94, Spryfield. On March 31, 2008, she passed on peacefully under the comforting hand of God. Born in Yarmouth County on December 9, 1913, she moved to Halifax and was a long-time resident of Spryfield since 1935. Doris was a long-standing member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Spryfield. She is survived by her loving and devoted grandson, Stanley, Spryfield; brother, George, Yarmouth; nephew, Stephen Cook, Halifax, as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. She had two sisters, Gladys and Marion, one of which has passed on. She was preceded to heaven by her loving husband, Villiam; her beautiful daughter, Joan F. Dove, and brother, Charles. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. (477-5601), with visitation from 2-6 p.m. today. A funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 14 St. Michael's Ave., Spryfield, with Father Jerry Gauvreau as celebrant. She will rest beside her Danish husband, the late Villiam Hans Christian Frederiksen, in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
