Obituary of Charles Lee Goreham

GOREHAM, Lee - 58, Halifax, passed away on March 19, 2008 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Shelburne, Lee was the son of the late Burnley and Hazel (Brown) Goreham. He worked at the Victoria General Hospital for 26 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna (Surette) Goreham; son, Scott (Trina Ramey), Williams Lake Road; daughters, Sherry Ross, Halifax; Tasha Murphy, Sackville; brothers, Phillip (Marie), Saint John, N.B.; Ronald (Marg), Lower Sackville; Norman (Diane), Cape Sable Island; sister, Darlene (John) Ross, Cape Sable Island; grandson, Christopher Goreham. He was predeceased by his brothers, Gary, Bobby, Allan; sister, Linda. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601), with visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, March 24. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday in Doctors Cove Baptist Church, Shelburne County, Pastor Edwin Allen officiating. An interment will be held in Doctors Cove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lee’s memory may be made to the Liver Transplant Team, QEII 473-2700 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia 423-7530.
