Obituary of Timothy Baker

BAKER, Timothy James Robert - 42, after a lengthy illness, passed away at home on January 7, 2008. He will be sadly missed. Left to mourn him is his mother, Jo Prouse (Dobbins); stepfather, Norman, and his faithful dog, Scamp. He is also survived by his brother, Harry (Robin Buckley); sisters, Cindy Furey (partner Gordon), Halifax; Joanne Pope, England; Kim Burns, Windsor; four nieces, four nephews, and two great-nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Harry Baker. Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Rd., Spryfield (477-5601). A farewell to Tim will be held on Thursday, January 10, from 7-9 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the local S.P.C.A. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the doctors and nurses of Palliative Care, especially Glenna Thornhill, home nurse consultant.
