Obituary of Gary Wayne Plummer

Age 64, Spryfield, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the VG Site, QEII in Halifax.  Gary was born in Lachine Quebec and was a son of the late Bernie and Olive (Frail) Plummer.  

He is survived by his daughter, AnnMarie Skinner; brother, Bernie Plummer; sisters, Barb Ouellette and Maggie (Jimmy) Fougere and many nieces and nephews.  Gary will be greatly missed by his family and his close friends, Gloria Tynan and Margie Lewis.  He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Rene Ouellette and niece, Connie-Lee in infancy.  

Special thanks to Dr. Robinson at Hematology, the staff of unit 6A at the Centennial Building VG and especially to Shannon for her care and compassion in Gary’s final hours.  

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd.  A visitation and reception will be held on Tuesday, March 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a Memorial Service will be follow at 12:00 p.m.  Interment will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lower Sackville.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
