I want to express how sorry Iam for the familys loss. There are some very
comforting words found in Gods Word, the Bible, at Acts the 17th. chapter,
verses 24 & 25 where God is called "the source of life"......the One who
gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to our
loved ones who have died. Another comforting scripture is found in the Bible
book of Job, the 14th. chapter, verses 14 & 15. It speaks about how God
longs to bring back those who are in His memory & see them live on earth
again. I hope this brings the family comfort. My sincere condolence to you &
yours. Janet https://www.jw.org/finder?docid=1011214&item=pub-imv_4_

My deepest condolences to Maureen's family and friends. It was a pleasure knowing and working with her over the years. She was an egalitarian at heart and this flowed through to her work protecting Nova Scotia consumers. Her candor refreshing, her insight revealing. We were all enriched by knowing her.

We were saddened to hear this morning here in Florida of Maureen's passing. Her Dad was like a brother to me and I recall the support Maureen extended to her Dad in the final months of his life. How sad indeed that Maureen's own life was cut short at such a young age!

I was so saddened to learn of Mo's illness and now her passing. I had the pleasure of working with her many years ago at Lands and Forests and then DNR. We shared some great laughs, and I have many fond memories of our time together working for the Province. She was a dedicated civil servant. Please accept our sincere condelences. She will be missed.

Indeed a sad day for friends and family. I had the pleasure and honour of knowing Mo for several years while working with the Province. She was an energetic, dedicated worker and a straight shooter who told it as she saw it. When she bought her house in the North end, it was a treat to get house and garden tours with her while she presented her renovation and home improvement plans, all of which gradually materialized over time. She was true to her values throughout this most recent challenge, her attitude was one of strength and logic. My best thoughts will always be with her.

Dearest Family,
I have had the privilege to have first met Mo on the basketball court many years ago. Mo faithfully organized our yearly league & always made newcomers feel welcome. Her ethics, passion and fair play on the court is certainly a testament to the wonderful individual we will fondly remember. Playing with Mo touched so many of us both on and off the court. We will not forget this small but mighty force that would never shy away from a challenge! There will never be another game at the Chocolate Lake Community Center that we don’t think of our friend.
Sincere Condolences to Mo’s family.
Rest In Peace Mo,
Jeno Wagner

I am so fortunate to have worked with Maureen. Her "get it done" attitude and willingness to tackle just about anything was always so refreshing. Through her stories about her adventures with her friends it would seem this is how she lived her life outside work too. We miss you Maureen.

For a second you were flying
Like you always wanted to
Now you’ll fly forever
In skies of azure blue
We’ll see your smile in every ray
Of sunshine after rain
And hear the echo of your laughter
Over all the pain
The world’s a little quieter now
The colours have lost their hue
The birds are singing softly
And our hearts are missing you
Each time we see a little cloud
Or a rainbow soaring high
We’ll think of you and gently
Wipe a tear from our eye
It was a pleasure to know, and work, with you Maureen. I will miss our chats and the laughs we use to share. The only comfort I have is knowing that you are at peace now. Sending sympathy and condolences to your family and loved ones.
