I want to express how sorry Iam for the familys loss. There are some very comforting words found in Gods Word, the Bible, at Acts the 17th. chapter, verses 24 & 25 where God is called "the source of life"......the One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to our loved ones who have died. Another comforting scripture is found in the Bible book of Job, the 14th. chapter, verses 14 & 15. It speaks about how God longs to bring back those who are in His memory & see them live on earth again. I hope this brings the family comfort. My sincere condolence to you & yours. Carol, I received news of Mac's passing from Karen Hartlen via Louise Gorman and Darlene Cullen. I spoke to Greg that evening and he updated me as to what had happened with Mac's health. I only met you once at Ian and Karen's and found you very personable. Please accept my condolences. Mac was a friend from the time I met him in 1968 when I first played on the group's ball team. I appreciated his humour and his special character. Greg said that you were holding up well, and I believe it. Mac, I can imagine, could be a difficult guy at times, but we all loved him for who he was. I will miss him. He was intrical to the social group around the ball team, an eclectic bunch of varying and diverse "characters," and he headed the list. Take care of yourself. Letting you know that I will miss him. We all will.
