Obituary of Rita Evelyn Arsenault

Age 84, Halifax, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2017 at the Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Gerrior) Sampson.

She is survived by son, Robert; daughters, Beverly Purdy (Albert), Alice Morris (Raymond), Jane Crocker (Doug), Rita Arsenault (Phil Cyr), Cammy Whalen (Kevin); sister, Florence “Vonny” Everick; 78 grandchilren; numerous great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter, Zoey. Rita was predeceased by her husband Camille; son, Stephen; brothers, Willie, Tommy, Ronnie and sister Marie.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a visitation will be held on Thursday January 11 from 11a.m.-2p.m. with Service of Remembrance at 2p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow in reception lounge at 166 Cowie Hill Rd. Interment to take place at a later date.
