Obituary of Victor Arthur Kaiser
64, Halifax. It is with heavy hearts, we the family of Victor Arthur Kaiser, announce his sudden passing on December 25, 2017. Born in Halifax, on December 29 1952, raised in West Dover, he was a son of the late John Kaiser and Muriel (Perry) (Kaiser) Herritt and a step son of the late Olmon Herritt. In his early years,
Victor enjoyed attending wrestling matches at the Halifax Forum. He also enjoyed many CB camping trips around Nova scotia and PEI. He was well known as a very avid hunter and fisherman. Victor was a very devoted member of the Bayside Baptist Church. When he could no longer attend due to his failing health he still practiced his faith each and everyday. He was a member of the MacKeen Manor tenant/social club and he truly enjoyed spending time with his dear friends within his building.
Victor will be forever loved and missed by his brothers, Wayne (Margie) and James (Sandra); his niece, Justine and nephews, Adam, Kenneth, Anthony and Michael. Also, dear friends who treated him like family, Maureen, Charlene and Jane. He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents and brother, Bobby. He will be missed by his fur baby, Oreo.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield, where visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31 from 12-2 PM. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel, Pastor Vicki Brown officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
