Obituary of James Alan Gottfried

GOTTFRIED, James “Jim” Alan - Age 56, Prospect, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017.  Born in Kitchener, ON, he was a son of Elizabeth (Robertson) Gottfried and the late Douglas Gottfried. 

Jim served in the Navy for ten years aboard the HMCS Saguenay and several other ships. He attended DeVry College and received a degree in Computer Science, later working for Manulife until 2006. He loved science fiction, computers and anything to do with electronics. 

Jim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Ann Marie; brothers, Bill (Lois), Don, Terry (Robin), Randy (Louisa) and Chris; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother, Mike Gottfried. 

In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.
