Dear Rojo Family, We are deeply sorry for your loss. We, too, will greatly miss Alfonso - who was, indeed, a Renaissance man. He was a pleasure to talk to - we all loved to hear about his life experiences - and he was an excellent Spanish language motivator for myself, Hanka. (I will really miss our chats and his regular visits to Saint Mary's University Library.) Moreover, he was an inspiration to many individuals, in a multitude of ways. A man of fascinating intelligence, wit, and humour, and harbouring a sunny and optimistic disposition, he will be truly missed at the University, and beyond. He was a real gentleman!
