Obituary of Keith Melvin Sarty

63, Spryfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, with family by his side. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Douglas and Mary Louise (Slaunwhite) Sarty. Keith was a very loving and compassionate person. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his partner, Marina Askew, Spryfield; daughters, Stephanie, of Spryfield and Michelle, of Kamloops, BC; grandchildren, Liam, Alexander and Lilly; brothers, Richard, of Middle Sackville and David, of Vancouver, BC. He was predeceased by sister, Betty O’Malley. Special thanks to the staff at the QEII 5.1 ICU, for their compassionate care and support. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 1 PM from the funeral home chapel; with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at a later date.
