Obituary of James Theodore Porteous

Age 77, Halifax, passed away peacefully on February, 14, 2017 V.G. Site, QEII. Born in Malagash, he was a son of the late James and Lena (Vincent) Porteous. James loved to do gardening and liked to travel. He had tons of friends who will miss him greatly. He is survived by brother, John Porteous (Josey), River John and several aunts and uncles. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. where a visitation will be held Monday February 20 from 2-4 p.m. Interment will take place in the spring in the Malagash United Cemetery, Malagash. Donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stoke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
