Obituary of Vera Dawn Shepherd

SHEPARD, Vera Dawn- Age 62 of Halifax, it is with extreme sadness we announce her passing on October 11th, 2024 at the QEII Victoria General Site.  Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marjorie Shepherd. She was a hard-working woman. Vera was passionate about darts, bowling, and playing cards. She loved music, cooking Marvel and Buffy the Vampire slayerfood. She is survived by her daughter Christina Shepherd; son, Edward Shepherd; siblings, Siblings Chris Shepherd, Pauletta Thouless, and Velma Elms.  She was predeceased by her sister, Bonita Shepherd.

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.  In keeping with Vera's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will take place Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 9 am at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home.
