Obituary of Edward M. Kellogg

A celebration of Eddy's life will be held at the funeral home on Wesnesday October 30. 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Kellogg, Edward “Eddy” Milton:  57, Halifax, passed away following a brief and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at the VG Site, QEII, surrounded by his family.  Eddy had a heart of gold; he would help anyone in need and talk to just about anyone.  He was known for being an easy going, work-a-holic with an incredible sense of humour- he was a jokester.  Eddy loved, loved, loved country music, especially the old stuff and will be remembered for singing his heart out and playing air guitar, always with a comical edge.  His truck was his “baby”, but his family meant the world to him.  "Grampy" loved all of his grandchildren in the own special way, and he had a super special bond with his little buddy, his grandson, KK.  He just loved him so much, and for a man with not a whole lot of patience, had so much when it came to him!  Eddy will always be remembered by his wife, Cheryl (White), his daughter, who he called “princess”, Haley (Jared), his sons, Tyler (Robyn) and Chase, his grandchildren, Jordan, Kaden and River, his brothers, Stevie Christie (Debbie) and Ambrose Kellogg, and a chosen brother, Gary Steeves.  He is survived by his father-in-law, Carl White, sister-in-law, Darlene (Glen), brother-in-law, Barry (Kim), a niece, Carlie, and nephews, Travis, Jason (Alicia), and Mason (Tiffany), as well as numerous cousins and extended family.  Eddy was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Joseph Kellogg, his mother-in-law, Carol White and a nephew, Cody.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in memory of Eddy. In memory of Eddy, please extend a kind gesture to someone or help someone in need.
