Obituary of Nancy Ann Thibodeau

Thibodeau, Nancy Ann:  58.  We are very sad to inform you that Nancy Ann Thibodeau passed away on April 24, 2024 at the QEII Hospital, Halifax, NS.  Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Thibodeau and Clara “Dolly” Allbright (Thomas), and her chosen mother, Evelyn Sabean.

Nancy was well known for being funny, easy to talk to, and silly; she could make anyone laugh.  She wore her heart on her sleeve.  Those who knew her, knew her well.  She will be greatly missed.

Nancy is survived by her two sons, Jeremy and Tyler, and grandsons, Drew, Noah, Brendon and Zakkary.  She will be sadly missed by her companion Tommy Galarneau, her siblings, Terry Thibodeau, Bruce (Tammy) Thibodeau, David (Wendy) Thibodeau, Jane Nolan (Jeffrey), Donna Rice (Scott), Dean Allbright, Kelly Allbright, Sally Akin (Mackenzie), and Susan Saulnier, and her chosen siblings, Emily Rhyno, Irvin Sabean, Susan Sabean, and Frank Sabean, along with numerous, too many to mention, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her biological parents, her chosen mother, Evelyn, a brother, Brian Allbright, her chosen brother-in-law, Weldon Rhyno, and chosen sisters, Jean White and Betty Kedy.

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on July 20, 2024, 2:00pm at Weymouth Waterfront Library Hall. Donations in memory of Nancy may be sent to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or a charity of your choice.
