You have been a steadfast friend for decades, and despite our lives heading in different directions from time to time we always stayed connected. I was lucky to have known you, and to have reconnected in person again over the last year. You never stopped offering me words of encouragement over the years my friend, even when you were dealing with your own struggles. I am and will continue to be a better person in this world because you were in it, and I was in yours. Thank you for always being your real self and for considering me your friend.
