Obituary of Agnes Georgina Norris

Agnes Georgina Norris, of Halifax, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 97on Monday, February 19, 2024 in the Halifax Infirmary. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Field) Dacey.

Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband Howard of 59 years; children, Gertrude, Janet, Howard, Patrick and Clifford.

She is survived by children Sharon (Ed), Frank (Joan), Margaret (Brian), Darlene (Perry), Phillip (Rhonda), Peter (Bonnie) and Tina. Agnes had many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much.

Mom was a very kind hearted lady who would give and do anything to make others happy. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family; she also liked her visits from her children.

We would like to give special thanks to her daughter Tina and son Phillip for being there every day caring for her and a big thankyou to her grandson Cole for keeping her young at heart and caring for her, Cole you were the apple of her eye. Also thank you to the wonderful staff at the Halifax Infirmary Emergency.

She will be missed so much by all her children. “We love you mama “

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2024 in the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Stella Maris Paris “St. Michael’s” 14 St. Michael's Avenue, Halifax, NS. Burial will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 33 Old Sackville Road, Lower Sackville, NS
