Obituary of Barry James Schnare

Barry James Schnare, 64, passed away on February 10, 2024 at the Halifax Infirmary after a short battle with cancer.

He worked as a stone mason and a brick layer for many years. Barry loved hunting and fishing.

Barry was survived by his love of 39 years, Lisa Verge, children, Barry MacDougall, Gary Franklin, Brittany Bayers, Allicia Verge, sisters, Debby Schnare, Gail Schnare, brothers, Donnie Schnare, Kevin Schnare (Shelly), and lots of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Schnare, mother, Marie Schnare, brother, Gary Schnare, sister, Heather Schnare Vallis.

Celebration will life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 in the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.
