Obituary of Terrance Vincent Drysdale

Drysdale, Terry, 63, of Halifax, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Terry was born in Halifax and was the son of  William “Bill” and the late Jesie (Humphrey) Drysdale.

Terry was a coach in his community for 15 years with Spryfield minor softball and spent years assisting with Chebucto minor hockey. One of Terry's favorite hobbies was enjoying hunting and fishing and spending time at his summer trailer.

Most people that knew Terry knew him as Papa and he was very proud of that. 

Surviving is his wife Sheri Hendsbee, children, Sarah (Will), Ashley (Andrew), Justin (Ammie), Melissa (James), Terry "Tj" (Angela), Dustin (Tamara), Devon (Desiree’), 8 grandchildren who are Papa’s everything and his world, Shelby, Melia, Lexie, Mason “Little Man”, Hunter, Princess Addison, Brinley, Avery; special fur baby “Honey”, and his best friends Bruce Hendsbee and Kevin MacCullum.

Arrangements are under the direction of the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS B3P 1K6.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Emmanuel Anglican Church, 322 Herring Cove Road, Halifax.
