Obituary of Karen Louise Jollimore

Karen Louise Jollimore - 62 of Halifax, who peacefully departed this life at the VG Hospital on Monday January 22, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Patricia (Slaunwhite) Wournell and the wife of the late Scott Jollimore. 

Born in Terance Bay, she, along with her family, embarked on a new chapter in Halifax during her youth. Karen's passion for movies was unmatched; the joy she found in watching her favorites repeatedly reflected her enduring love for cinematic tales. Her compassionate heart extended to the animal kingdom, embodying kindness towards our furry friends. Among her treasured memories, flying to New York and winning 2nd of a Beauty Pageant held a special place, marking an unforgettable experience in her well-lived life. 

Karen also embraced thrift shopping, she used to go a few times a week, there she discovered unique treasures. Her indulgence in chocolates brought a sweet touch to her days.

She was predeceased by her husband Scott; parents Stanley and Patricia; and sister Jeannie.

She is survived by her sons Loki Margera; Diana (wife of Loki) and Stanley; sisters Cathy and Susan; sister and brother-in-law Rose and Ron; along with many nieces and nephews.  

Service will be held at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Sunday, January 28th at 1:00pm.

Visitation will be open to the public starting at 11:30am.
