Obituary of Frances Marie Bell

Age 91, Halifax, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016 in her home at S.V.N.H. Born in Halifax on April 30, 1925, she was a daughter of the late James Stanley and Lucy (Shumpt) Bell. Marie was a long-time resident of Spryfield, she served in the C.W.A.C. during WW2. She was an employee of Simpsons Sears for several years. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Geraldine, Joan and Doris; brother, Leo. Heartfelt thanks are extended to the staff, residents and family of S.V.N.H. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker funeral home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. A memorial Mass will take place at St. Vincent’s Nursing Home Chapel, 2080 Windsor Street, Halifax on December 15, 2016 at 10 a.m. Parking is limited. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to S.V.N.H or charity of choice in Marie’s memory.
