Doris, Shelly, Tim & families;
It is a sad day to be hearing that your beloved Noble, your husband, Dad & Grandfather has passed on.
We have such wonderful memories when we lived on James Street… Brian always dropping by to see Noble in his shop; he made the best smoked mackerel of anyone Brian remembered.
The yarns they had… and Noble was crafty… we still have a very old Boston rocker that Noble made a new runner for when Brian’s Dad sat in it one day and down he went. That rocker meant a lot to us, and Noble came to the rescue.
Turning out wooden bowls in his lathe…. Brian was always amazed.
We always talk and think about Noble whenever we go to Beach Meadows Beach; and then drive through the community, as Noble always talked to us about his relatives that lived there.
A man of his stature; kindness will never be forgotten. He will live on in each and every one of your memories; and also in those that had the honour and pleasure to have known him.
“ A great man is one who leaves others at a loss after he is gone.”
~~ Paul Valery ~~
Sending much love and deep sympathy to you all,
Judy & Brian McCarthy
