Obituary of Gloria Anna Norris

Gloria Anna Norris, 83, of Lower Prospect, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Jessie (Blackburn) Wallage of Halifax.

Gloria had a heart of gold for her family.

Gloria is survived by daughters, Sherlene (Paul) Higgins, Lower Prospect; Brenda Quinn, Whites Lake; Bonnie Slaunwhite, Halifax; sister, Marlene (Robert) Ringer; brothers, Blair (Barb) Wallage and Raymond Wallage; grandchildren, Monica McArdle, Natalie and Christopher Quinn, Evan and Colton Slaunwhite; great grandson, Mason Quinn and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; sister, Diane Outhouse; brother, Terry Wallage.

Cremation has taken place under the care of the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Limited, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, NS B3P 1K6.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Holy Apostles Parish - St. Joseph’s Church, Shad Bay. Father Earl Smith officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
