Obituary of Pauline D. Morris
Halifax, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 27, 2016at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax on September 19, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Catherine (Mayo) Creelman.
Throughout her life, Pauline had been employed at Fairview Villa as a PCW. When she had been able to, she loved to spend time with family, playing cards and going to Bingo. She will be remembered for always opening her home in Goodwood to family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Morris (Alice); daughters, Catherine Cuvelier (Bruce Daniel), Linda Doucette (Raymond) and Darlene Kaiser (Eric); 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by brothers, Gary, Terry, Larry and Paul; sisters, Sandra, Carol, Donna, Nancy, Janet and Doreen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband in 2008, Arthur Morris; brother, Arthur.
Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax, where visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1 from 11 AM – 1 PM. A Service of Remembrance will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel, followed by a reception. Interment will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Pauline’s memory be made to a charity of one’s choice.
